Toes in the sand. Acuatico Beach Resort

Best Blogger Tips
After spending some time with hospitals and doctors, we have no idea how to proceed. Before I even knew all these would happen, I already made reservations at a resort out of town so that we can all spend time together. Little did I know this 'plan' of mine would come in very handy. I was an inch close to cancelling the booking I made because of daddy's condition, I was thinking he couldn't go too far just yet. But then his doctor advised him to take a little vacation so that his exhausted body can fully recover. More so, daddy's doctor was more concerned that this transition might affect his peaceful state of mind. She suggested this R&R would somehow clear his head (especially at that time his mind was feeling cluttered), calm himself because he was troubled and free up mental energy (he was feeling tired at the start of treatment). So a day after daddy was released from the hospital we hit the road.

We were on our way to Acuatico Beach Resort in Laiya, San Juan, Batangas. Shameful as it may sound but we GPS-ed our way there. I guess there's no harm in that considering that daddy was not in the right shape to navigate. So it was JM the driver, GPS + me, the course plotters. We had to make one stopover in Sta. Rosa to pickup Jojie, JM's girlfriend. We had to stop there for a quick bite too. So after 3 more hours of serious exploration, we finally reached our destination.

I chose this place because it was closer to home plus the view was really picture perfect.  I figured this would be a comfy place for dad and a big, safe playground for Kaya.  After checking in, we all came down to our cottage and the view was as beautiful as the pictures.  We got the Terrazza room (good for 4) which was beside the infinity pool.  We just added additional mattress for the extra head.  Ang dami kong sinabe, why don't I just let these photos speak for me.  I'm sorry for the picture flooding, can't get over the photogenic view.

After an afternoon of fun-filled activities, we sure were famished.  Dinner was served buffet style by the main hall.  I forgot how much it was per head, but what I'm sure of is that the food was worth the cost.  It was one of those moments that I knew I OVERATE and not feel any amount of guilt.  Feast your eyes.

Kaya just met her (Kiara) yet they were inseparable.  They cried when we had to go. Aww.

We had 2 days and this resort helped make it awesome.  It was an overwhelming getaway and definitely a relaxing one for my parents.  After the trip, we felt so rejuvenated we still have the fire to make a Tagaytay and Laguna side trip.  Will tell you more about it on my next posts.
