That sinking feeling - Maldives (Day 4)

Best Blogger Tips
For the past days, my friends and I were relatively immersed in the laid back island lifestyle.  One more day of sun and sand and we're back to reality - the desert (ugh).  We got up and had breakfast, sat at the table and enjoyed the scenery. We enjoyed our last day in paradise, making the most of the comfy loungers, the beach, sand and pool.  As hard as it was leaving the island, we tried to make it a relatively easy one. Sad face.

Before leaving we spent one last afternoon swimming – there is a certain peace that comes from places like this that is hard to recapture after returning to a city.

So anyway it's time to leave this paradise...

I will miss...

The beach
The heat
The waves
Walking around bare feet all day with minimal clothing
Not having to think about anything
Breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet
Sticky feeling on the skin and salty hair
Waking to the sound of waves
Putting sunscreen every after half an hour
Margaritas in a snap of a finger
Solitude
Dancing

Goodbye paradise.  Until we meet again, and I promise you'll be surprised. =)
