It's been a while since my last rave. When I came back from vacation I always catch myself staring at my closet. I've to remind myself to clean up, get rid of clutter, rearrange. Upon saying that I was really thinking about my life. My life is in need of a revamp. We all heard of makeovers, but how do you apply that to your life? It's not about changing looks, it something more profound than that. So, I thought it's really time for some changes to kick in. I'm pushing myself to pursue my hobbies and interests and I promised myself to plan ahead. It's helpful to know some people really care about your plans. My friend Rachell is such a doll. She listened to all plans like it's most important thing on earth. We share the same devotion to style, food, fashion and the arts. We thought of combining all those to create an enterprise. We honestly don't know how to commence, all we have is eagerness to make that dream a reality.
We will start small. Remember that Milo jingle, "Great things start from small beginnings..."? I instantly wanted to be a gymnast first time I saw that ad. I recall drinking 2 glasses of Milo each day because of that TVC, LOL. Being small (short, petite) is something that frustrated me while I was growing up. I was always in front - formations, field demonstrations, classroom seat plan, etc. I also had a hard time finding something to wear specially in my teen years. Nothing ever fits. It felt clothes were designed without me in mind. I stay away from high shelves, aircraft's storage for carry on luggage, the train handlebars and a lot other things I can't reach. When I grew older, I discovered some perks. Like I actually saved money because I'm buying stylish clothes at the kids' section. The other good thing about shortness is that it acts as an anti-aging cream. We don't seem to age. I still get the student rate when I use public transportation. The thing about being short has lots of negative and positive effects but it's really more about how who are affected deals with it.
This collection is dedicated to the little ladies. I want you girls to know that there are clothes that fits us perfectly. We may not have it all together and we may never be supermodels, but we could always be as fabulous as ever.
