Skeletons and MORE!

Best Blogger Tips
They say skeletons are remains of something already gone. Let's take love for example. Sometimes we ought to not let go of someone we once loved, we couldn't just throw away the memories. Instead, we chose to let it hang inside the closet, open it at times when we need repose and close it again when we feel the pain. It uprightly sounds pathetic but to some it's comforting.

I do not intend to write a piece about love and love lost today, oh please, this I lack (hahaha!). Rather I will share things that bring me comfort and warmth.Today I unveil the second batch of styles from my closet. I also wanted to use this entry to thank everyone who showed support, from heaven sent people who pegged and planted ideas in my head, to my dear slashies who patiently helped me in brainstorming, malling and photo shoots, my friends and family who patiently reposted my blog link, and my CLIENTS, with S talaga (taray!)! Thank you for trusting my taste. I promise we'll do better in the upcoming months. February was so good to me, and feel that March will sweep me off my feet.

This set is dear to me since I got to feature my friends' stylishness as well. Rach, Rona and Tine all agreed to share a portion of their closet (Yey!). You can send me a personal message on my Facebook account (Michelle Jassen Madla) if you have queries, orders, comments or even violent reactions. This batch will run for two weeks from today or until supplies last. Happy shopping everyone! =)

My first time was awkward.

Best Blogger Tips

My first time I can describe as awkward, it still felt like Christmas morning though. I honestly don't know what you have in mind, but I was talking about my first time attending a boat show. I went to the event with virgin friends so like me, they were anxious to know the naked truth about what goes in the show. We have VIP passes so we can choose to attend all dates listed. The Dubai International Boat show is an annual event organized by the Dubai World Trade Center for dealers or the public of products by various manufacturers in the marine industry. On its 19th year, the exposition was held on March 1-5, 2011 at the Dubai International Marine Club next to the Le Meridien Mina Seyahi hotel.

Described as the largest and most important showcase in the Middle East, a lot of suppliers came to exhibit their products and services enticing more consumers to participate in the said event. First timers like me usually have lofty expectations, and I can just conclude that the show left me in awe.  Well, I'm just satisfied to have a taste of  middle eastern luxury just by hopping into and exploring boats in display. I can't help but I ask myself, can people really afford all these? Some clearly can, and without a doubt I'm not one of the lucky few.  Taking a peek at extravagance and smiling my best at the photos we took was enough for me to say,  ang pagkain pa rin ng isaw sa kanto can best define happiness for me, I was just there for the show.

Welcome!

I remember talking about "beams" here. LOL!

It's all about the lips!

Pa-SIGHTsina ng Bagelia presents Ms. Kristine de Leon

Best Blogger Tips
Ms. Kristine de Leon - who most of us fondly calls Tine, Beb or Madame Klaudia with a K. If my calculations are correct we spend at least 5 hours each day together. Together means 5 hours of chatting, learning bekimon, comment blasting on Facebook and recently we are mastering the art of bombarding Twitter with tweets such as:

 tine de leon

@
@ got the GO signal from Ylmaz! LOL can'twait. Outfit hunting for the

 Miejay Madla

@
@ omg I'm so not in today! Ang busy ko!! I hate it, no social life :(

In those times we spent well together (sa kaartehan, kabaklaan at kalokokahan), I got to know her better. Beb is one superwoman. She bravely battles the call of duty as the HR Manager (she's not, but she will be soon - I just love calling her that, I think it sounds powerful) screening interviewees with names such as Ching Bee and pesanteng Romeo. (LOL) Yes pesante, she's Madame Klaudia right? =). Seriously I admire how she takes pleasure in attending to her work with such grace and style. She would often update me if someone's making her head burst because of situations I'd rather not mention but after venting everything out, we'll end the conversation dying literally of laughter. That's Beb, a woman who puts a strong face forward even more so at times when she carries the weight of the world on her shoulders.

This Pa-SIGHTsina project of mine aims to expose how fashion forward real people are in this day and age. Juggling amidst keeping up with the latest trends and living the real life. How a person carries herself would genuinely reflect in how one carries her bag.

So without further delay I present Ms. Kristine de Leon's bagelia! I-SIGHTsina nyo na!=)
NOTE: This is an ambush bag attack (Wis nya know na may ganage!)

"Ano to babe? Anong ginagawa mo? Hinde ako ready!" - Beb's reaction to the bag attack

The Bagelia: Louis Vuitton Speedy 30 in Damier Ebene Canvass  (with KF hot stamp) When asked about what the stamp stands for, she politely declined to disclose. (artista moves? hahaha)

Everything inside her bag

Notes booklet of the BDJ planner. We're so into this planner, as in!

Etienne Aigner Wallet

(From left to right) Band-aid, Eye pencil, Lip Balm, Clinique City Block Sheer Oil-Free Daily Face Protector SPF 25, Benetint Pocket Pal, Lip Gloss, Clinique Mascara (black), Make up brush, Sephora Mascara (clear) and Eyelash Curler from Gift Gallery (Pak) - this she can't live without.

D&G Light Blue Lotion, Evian Facial Spray

A pen, keys to office cabinets and house key with Mickey Mouse key chain (she adores this mouse), BlackBerry Curve, Oral-B Dental Floss (her lifesaver) and Always Ultra sensitive for those red letter days

Thanks Beb! I'm such a snoop and I'm loving it. Can't hardly wait for my next nose around session. Who's bagelia is next? Hmmm.. =)
